Have been here twice for the desi nashta/all day breakfast and loved it both times. Food was delicious, karak chai was beautiful, service was fabulous (thank you Simran) and the restaurant looks lovely inside. Plenty of parking nearby. Will be back again soon!

Had an amazing breakfast here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs perfectly cooked, and the coffee was rich and smooth. Service was quick and very friendly. Great place to start your day — highly recommend!

I really really hope that we just visited them on a bad day. The food here is superb, we enjoyed a huge desi breakfast, an excellent halwa puri, a generously stuffed paratha and tasty (if only half a cup) of Karak Chai. Honestly, no fault at all of the food - would be back in an instant on the basis of that though.
However, the over an hour wait for it was pretty awful. Any time you spoke to a member of staff the answer was it’ll be with you in 10 mins, 5 mins. If they could have been transparent about it, maybe just whipped out a quick complementary paratha or bread to keep tables going whilst waiting then things would have been better. It was noticeable that they had taken some big tables through to the curry house next door - perhaps a victim of their own success that they are really popular. If this is the case, and the kitchen can’t cope with the extra covers, just lean into how popular you are and turn people away rather than take tables in who you are going to disappoint?
We’ll give them another chance, the food really was that good, and really hope that it was just a bad day as they learn their own capabilities.

Since I visited Charishta Café and tried the food, I have had a very pleasant experience overall. The quality and presentation of the food were excellent. The staff were professional, courteous, and attentive, reflecting strong management and organization. The décor and overall ambiance are tastefully designed, creating a comfortable and inviting environment. Overall, Charishta Café demonstrates high standards of quality and service and is truly worth visiting.

I’ve been visited on Christmas Day an Asian-English breakfast & lunch restaurant named Charishta, and it was such a refreshing experience. They’ve taken the familiar comfort of a traditional English & Asian breakfast & lunch and added subtle Asian flavors that really elevate the meal. I’ve been ordered Avocado Egg Toast with chips, Chocoberry French Toast & Karak Chai.The French Toast had a hint of Chocolate, the Avocado Egg Toast’s eggs were perfectly cooked, and the Karak Chai were a standout—rich and full of flavour.

Really enjoyed my brunch here with friends. We loved the desi breakfast - a very generous portion and refreshingly different from what you usually find elsewhere. It included paratha, an desi omelette, chicken curry, chaneh, achaar, yoghurt and aloo curry. Everything was delicious, but the chaneh stood out in particular, as it’s something many places struggle to get right - and this was spot on.
We also ordered the samosa chaat, which was delicious, along with the chicken Manchurian served with Chinese rice - full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyed.
The décor was bright, modern, and inviting, but what really stood out was the service. The ladies who served us were lovely, and the owner even came over to chat with us and ask for feedback. I suggested adding green chutney to the breakfast to go with the paratha, and I loved how she immediately took it on board and had the chef prepare it there and then.
Would definitely recommend and will be returning very soon with my family.

I got halwa puri and full desi for my husband and it was delicious. After so long I had the best Chana with puri since I came in uk. And mind u I'm not exaggerating at all. The parathas was crisy and not oily at all. And the tea was very good milky and perfect sugar.
Also try there avocado toast the other day and it was perfect presentation and taste will attach the photo as I totally forgot to take the puri and paratha one.
Overall Highly recommended would definitely go again
